Mr. Charles Walter “Chuck” Leucht, 61, passed away Friday, June 3, 2022, at Witham Memorial Hospital in Lebanon with his loving family by his side. He was born in Los Angeles, California, on December 13, 1960, a son of Charles William “Bill” Leucht and the late Nancy Jo (Sandefur) Leucht.
On September 10, 1983, he was united in marriage to Pamela J. (Jones) Leucht in Lebanon; she survives.
Chuck graduated from Lebanon High School with the class of 1979. He had spent 26 years with Lau Blower as a production control supervisor and seven years with Hendrickson as a laser operator. After semi-retirement, Chuck worked as the maintenance supervisor at Stonegate Meadows and was a courier for Witham Health Services.
His passion consisted of airplanes of any kind. He had built RC models, specifically experimental RV9-A. He loved his grandchildren very much, Addison, Ryland, and Skylar. Chuck was a faithful member of Lebanon Christian Church. In addition, he was a member of the Rolling Wheels Good Sam Club Chapter 18, Danville Blacksheep RC Modelers, and a past member of the Boone County Airport.
Survivors include his loving wife of 39 years, Pam Leucht of Lebanon; daughter, Amanda (Billy) Phillips of Lebanon; grandchildren, Addison, Ryland, and Skylar Phillips of Lebanon; father, Bill Leucht of Lebanon; brother, Richard (Irene) Leucht of Texas; uncle, Bob (MaryAnn) Leucht of Kentucky; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Family and friends will gather for a celebration of life at the Lebanon Christian Church, 610 West 250 North, in Lebanon, Indiana on Friday, June 17, 2022, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Myers Mortuary and Boone County Crematory have been entrusted with his care.
