The annual Big Dem BBQ celebration by the Clinton County Democrats is set to heat up next Saturday, Sept. 7 at Mulberry Centennial Park with numerous special guests for the community to meet.
The Big Dem BBQ will kick off on Saturday, Sept. 7 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Mulberry Centennial Park at 407 Park St. in Mulberry with live music, family-friendly activities, food, vendor booths and more.
Attendees will be greeted by special guests Dr. Valerie McCray, a U.S. Senate candidate, Derrick Holder, a U.S. Congress candidate, and Dan Sikes, a U.S. Congress candidate, during the event.
The event has been sponsored by Big Country BBQ and the Clinton County Democrats with free will donations being accepted.
Clinton County Democratic Party Chairman Mark Newhart stated that vendor booth space at the park shelter house is still available for those interested in showcasing their items.
