Clinton County Election Board Prepares For Early Voting On April 9

Three Election Board members conducted a public test of voting machines for the upcoming election with early voting beginning on April 9.

Clinton County Clerk Stephanie Harshbarger, Election Board member Alicia Albertson and Election Board member Beth Hardebeck conducted the test last week to ensure that the MicroVote machines were ready to be utilized for the upcoming election.

Community members are encouraged to educate themselves on the available voting centers in Clinton County listed below:

Early voting dates at the Clinton County Courthouse, Commissioners Room, 1st floor, in Frankfort:

Tuesday, April 9 – Friday, May 3, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Saturday, April 27, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Saturday, May 4 — 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Monday, May 6 — 8 a.m. to noon

Community members are also encouraged to learn more about the candidates that will be on the ballot. Candidates experiencing contested races in the primaries will be invited to speak with community members and introduce themselves to the community during the 2024 Meet the Candidates event on Thursday, April 11 at 7 p.m. in the Frankfort Community Public Library Skanta Theatre at 208 W. Clinton St. in Frankfort. The event is free and open to the public and will be streamed and archived on HoosierlandTV. A list of candidates may be found below:
