Clinton County Fair Officially Kicks Off This Weekend at Fairgrounds

The Clinton County Fair officially kicks off this weekend at the Clinton County Fairgrounds.

The fair begins at 8 a.m. Saturday with the Horse and Pony Show going on at the Horse Show Arena and the Rabbit Show takes place at the CIS Livestock Arena. That will be followed by the Model Tractor Pull at the Livestock Show Arena at 4 p.m.

At 6 p.m., the Tractor Pull will take place at the Grandstands.

Also, Huesman Amusements kicks off its week-long stay on the Midway from 5-11 p.m. daily.

Sunday has a wide variety of things starting with the Cowboy Church at noon in the Livestock Arena. That will be followed at 2 p.m. by the Fair Parade. Lineup is at 1:30 p.m. at the Frankfort Community Public Library before it heads down Jackson Street en route to the Fairgrounds. HoosierlandTV.com will broadcast live with Cindy Loveless and Ken Hartman lending commentary.

At 4 p.m., the Livestock Arena will host the Car Show followed by the Andrew Russian Memorial Livestock Skillathon at the Livestock Arena from 6-8 p.m.

The Grandstands is hosting the Demolition Derby starting at 6 p.m. There will be two food contests starting at 7 p.m. with the Pizza Eating Contest sponsored by Bruno’s Pizzeria and the 4-H Foods Auction takes place at the Edward Jones 4-H Community Building.
