With the upcoming solar eclipse on Monday, April 8, the Clinton County Government has announced that most offices will close early, which may impact court proceedings for certain cases.
The Clinton County Government announced that most of the county offices will close around 1 p.m. on Monday, April 8 for the total solar eclipse. The closure of the offices includes the Clinton County Courts.
Due to cases possibly being scheduled to originally be heard on April 8, changes have been made to reschedule the cases for a different date in some circumstances. Community members who may need more information regarding a case originally scheduled for April 8 are encouraged to check the status of the case at mycase.in.gov.
