Clinton County is doing well with COVID-19 compared to the other 91 Counties in the state.
Clinton County is among only 11 counties in Indiana qualifying for the “Blue” designation in the most current map available from from the in.gov site. “Blue” is the best designation possible except that of “normal” or pre-Covid conditions.
Clinton County Health officer Dr. Stephen Tharp often calls in on the WILO talk show “Party Line” on the “Leading with Hope and Vision” segment at 8:45 AM to keep the area posted on Clinton County COVID-19 data and vaccine information. Dr. Tharp’s reports lately have reflected good progress for the State and particularly for Clinton County.
Dr. Tharp indicated that the necessary isolation required by the weather may be just one (state-wide) factor in the notable improvement in the COVID-19 numbers.
Vaccines, weather isolation, existing immunity from prior cases and successful distancing and mask procedures all contribute to the undeniably improving numbers in the state and Clinton County.
