Clinton Prairie Elementary is excited to welcome its newest Gophers and has released important registration details for preschool, kindergarten, and transitional kindergarten for the 2026–2027 school year.

3 Year Old Preschool Registration Information
- Children must be 3 years old by August 1, 2026.
- The cost of preschool is $395 a month and due on the 1st of every month.
- There are 20 spots for preschool and in-district students are accepted first.
- A second classroom may be opened if enrollment numbers allow. Families will be notified of classroom availability once enrollment has been reviewed and finalized. If enrollment numbers do not support a second classroom but more than 20 sign up, there will be a lottery held on May 2nd to determine who will be placed in the preschool.
- You will be notified by May 5th if your child has a spot in preschool.
- If there are still open spots after May 5th, it will be a first come first serve basis.
- If your child is offered a spot, the final month of tuition for the 2026-2027 school year will be due by May 29, 2026. This payment will reserve your child’s spot and will be applied as payment for the final month of the school year (May 2027).

4 Year Old Preschool Registration Information
- Children must be 4 by August 1, 2026 (If a child is 5 by August 1, 2026 they are not eligible for preschool, but are eligible for kindergarten).
- Students must be potty-trained to attend.
- The cost of preschool is $300 a month and due on the 1st of every month.
- There will be 25 spots for preschool and in-district students are accepted first.
- A second classroom may be opened if enrollment numbers allow. Families will be notified of classroom availability once enrollment has been reviewed and finalized. If enrollment numbers do not support a second classroom but more than 25 sign up, there will be a lottery held on May 2nd to determine who will be placed in the preschool.

Kindergarten Roundup
Kindergarten Roundup is scheduled for Friday, April 3, 2026.
- The child must turn five on or before August 1, 2026 to register for kindergarten.
- Complete this form to sign-up for kindergarten roundup. After completing the form, all communication and confirmation of your scheduled time will be sent to you via email at a later date.
Transitional Kindergarten
- The first eligible students for transitional kindergarten would be students that turn 5 in August and September of 2026.
- The next eligible students would be students who turn 5 from May 1- July 31 of 2026, and are not signed up for kindergarten.
- The students in transitional kindergarten will be enrolled in kindergarten the following school year.
- This program is state funded. There isn’t a tuition cost for parents.
- If there are more than 20 students signed up, there will be a lottery to determine placement in the class.
- You will be notified by May 5th if your child has a spot in our Transitional Kindergarten Program.
- Complete this form in order to be eligible for Transitional Kindergarten.
