Both Frankfort and Clinton Prairie have runners State Bound, Frankfort’s Chris Angeles, and Clinton Prairie’s Hayden Kemple are advancing to the State meet.
As an individual, CP’s Hayden Kemple won county, conference, the Clinton Prairie Invite, the Logansport Invite, the Clinton Central Invite, and the Logansport Sectionals. Hayden will be running in state alongside Frankfort’s Chris Angeles next Saturday.
Clinton Prairie won the Clinton County invite and the Hoosier Heartland Conference this season.

CP advanced to Regional s as a team, with Hayden Kemple advancing to the state meet. Hayden Kemple broke the previous school record of 16:00, by running a 15:18 at the county meet this season, winning the meet over Frankfort’s Angeles by 41 seconds.

CP wasn’t able to field a full girls team this year, but there were some notable individual performances.
Sadie Weliver won county with a 20:25, beating out Alina Ramirez from Frankfort by 50 seconds. She also won the CP invite with a time of 22:30 in the opening weekend of the season.
