Clinton Street by Library will Close for First Ever Summer Extravaganza: VIDEO

Friday June 6th from 5PM to 7PM area residents will notice West Clinton Street will be closed in front of the Frankfort Library.

The street closure on West Clinton Street June 6th is  be part of the outdoors “Summer Extravaganza” Free Library event kicking off the summer reading program at the four library locations in Clinton County: Frankfort, Michigantown, Mulberry and Rossville.

The two hour summer first-ever Extravaganza June 6 will attract:

  • Four food trucks or food venders: Tacos,  BBQ and more.
  • Stories read to kids by Fire Department, Police, Zonta, Lions Club and Kids reading to kids
  • Resource information booths pointing parents to available resources in Clinton County including resources for Health, Food, Education, Child Care and other opportunities. Many of these resources are available at no cost.
  • Games, Crafts and other activities. About 20 booths, displays and venders.

This event kicks off a summer of fun for kids including a visit from Iditarod Sled Musher Ramey Smyth, Magician Marc Lehman, Marvel Author Christopher Priest and artist Joe Quesada of Black Panther Comic Books Series fame: “Marvel Knights: The World to Come”.
