The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a Dense Fog Advisory for portions of central and west central Indiana, including Boone County, until 9 a.m. Thursday.
Weather conditions will result in visibilities less than one quarter mile will result. Also, hazardous driving conditions due to low visibility.
Besides Boone, other affected areas are Boone, Clay, Clinton, Fountain, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Howard, Johnson, Madison, Marion, Montgomery, Morgan, Owen, Parke, Putnam, Shelby, Tipton, Vermillion and Vigo counties.
If driving, slow down, use your headlights and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
