COACH Kids of Clinton County will be hosting its annual Coffee, Cookies and Cocoa event on Feb. 10 from 2 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Prairie Creek Park Event Center in Frankfort with a live broadcast from WILO sponsored by Center Township of Clinton County from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on 1570 AM, 96.9 FM and 102.7 FM.
COACH Kids staff, board members, mentors and mentees will greet visitors at Prairie Creek Park with smiles, treats and opportunities as they hear more about COACH Kids and the impact that mentors have on the youth in the county, warm up with a cup of coffee or cocoa, satisfy their sweet tooth with homemade cookies and participate in fun activities for kids.
Alongside the coffee, cookies and cocoa, event sponsor Day & Genda Funeral Home will be hosting face painting and a visit from Norm to round out the experience.
The event will accept free will donations, and all proceeds will benefit the programs at COACH Kids.
Cindy Loveless with WILO will be broadcasting live from the event from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on 1570 AM, 96.9 FM and 102.7 FM to provide snapshots of the experience with the listeners. The remote broadcast if brought to you by Center Township of Clinton County.
