COACH Kids of Clinton County announced the establishment of the “Joyce Jacobs
Servant’s Heart Award” in honor of outgoing COACH Kids Board of Directors President
Joyce Jacobs to commemorate her outstanding work within the organization and
throughout the community.
This year, to celebrate and honor a new chapter in the organization’s story, COACH
Kids has elected to honor Jacobs for her faithful service, leadership and unwavering
dedication to mentoring and service throughout the community by presenting a
volunteer within the organization with the “Joyce Jacobs Servant’s Heart Award.”
In Jacobs’ honor, COACH Kids will present the annual award to a community member
who exemplifies the true meaning of serving with compassion, humility and love. The
award will be presented every year to someone who embodies a servant’s heart
through their commitment to youth, their support of the COACH Kids mission and their
dedication to strengthening the community.
“Her service reminds us that leadership isn’t about titles–it’s about showing up, loving
deeply and serving faithfully,” wrote COACH Kids Executive Director Casey Allen. “We
are grateful beyond words.”
The inaugural award recipient has not been announced as of Feb. 3, and the award is
expected to be presented later this year.
