Community members have been invited to join the Colfax Christian Church Crochet Group that has proven successful for the attendees, and the group is seeking to grow its members.
Community members are encouraged to mark their calendar for the next session with Marilyn Brown on Saturday, March 29 at 9 a.m. at the church at 314 S. Clark St. in Colfax. Attendees should bring a crochet hook, size H or I, medium weight #4 acrylic yarn and scissors.
“Whether you’re a crochet newbie or just looking to refresh your skills, Marilyn will be there to walk you through the basics,” the church released.
The church stated that once members understand the basics of crochet, they will work together to create handmade pieces, such as baby hats, blankets, toys and more to bless others in the community.
