The CORE Community Center Giving Tree has kicked off its application process for the 2023 program with a deadline of Nov. 22 to have an angel placed on the tree.
Applications may be received from the CORE Welcome Center at 950 S. Maish Rd. in Frankfort until Nov. 22. All applications must be returned by Nov. 22 as the ornaments will be hung on the tree in the CORE lobby on Nov. 25 for families to select other families to support during the Christmas season.
“The Giving Tree brings Christmas presents to children under the age of 18 who are in need this holiday season,” the organizers wrote.
All gifts dedicated for the applicants of the Giving Tree must be provided to CORE unwrapped and with tags by Dec. 15 this year. Gifts will be ready for applicants to receive on Dec. 18.
