Cynthia K. Mitchell McIntire Fulwider, 82, of Avon, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born March 3, 1942, in Lebanon, Indiana, the daughter of the late Lyle Kenneth and Anna Irene (Kremer) Mitchell.
On July 7, 1961, she married Frank McIntire, and they shared 32 loving years together. He preceded her in death on October 29, 2002. On December 12, 1993, she married Ronald Jay “Ronnie” Fulwider in Las Vegas. He passed away on February 5, 2018.
Cynthia graduated from Lebanon High School in 1960. After graduation, she attained a Bachelor of Science in business and marketing. She was employed as a banker for several years in Lebanon. Most recently she was the Marketing Director for Channel 20, retiring in 2005.
Cynthia was a woman with endless creativity and talent. She enjoyed playing tennis and sewing. Above all, she loved her family, and all the moments spent together.
Survivors include children, Melany A. Couch of Avon, Tommy A. McIntire of Avon, and Scott E. McIntire of Michigan City; grandchildren, Savannah Couch, Colton Couch, Artie McIntire, and Tiffany McIntire; brothers, Kenneth A. Mitchell of Danville and Michael L. (Sarah) Mitchell of North Salem; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husbands, Cynthia was preceded in death by her grandson, Nicholas McIntire.
Funeral Services are planned for 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 31, 2025, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the services. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon.
