Delphi Police Department Showcases New Ballistic Windshield At 3rd Annual Car & Motorcycle Show Honoring Officer Noah Shahnavaz

Delphi Police Department Officer Justin Wilson represented the department during the 3rd Annual Car and Motorcycle Show Honoring Officer Noah Shahnavaz that benefits the Remember Officer Noah Foundation, Inc. to provide police departments with improved ballistics technology for the safety of their officers.

As Officer Shahnavaz’s badge number is 39, the foundation pledged a goal of funding 39 ballistic windshields for police departments across the state, which has impacted the Delphi Police Department as the foundation funded one ballistic windshield for an officer. According to the department, Car 120 is now equipped with the windshield and was on display at the car and motorcycle show for community members and fellow officers to explore.

“Officers from multiple departments took the opportunity to sit in the driver’s seat and check out the view through a ballistic windshield,” the department released. “Thank you to Noah’s parents, Matt and Laurie, for your sacrifice and hard work to bring this lifesaving equipment to our department.”
