The City of Delphi, in partnership with the YWCA of Greater Lafayette, is hosting an October Proclamation on Monday, Oct. 7 to dedicate the month to greater causes.
On Oct. 7 at 5:30 p.m., Delphi Mayor Kamron Yates will read a proclamation designating October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month and Breast Cancer Awareness Month alongside representatives of the YWCA during the Board of Works Meeting.
Community members have been invited to learn more about the two topics and the resources available for those affected at the YWCA and the local community.
The proclamation will be held at the Delphi City Hall at 201 S. Union St. in Delphi.
