The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has extended the Dense Fog Advisory until 1 p.m. this afternoon for portions of central, east central, north central, south central, southwest and west central Indiana. Visibility one quarter mile or lower in dense fog could make hazardous driving conditions due to low visibility.
Impacted areas are Bartholomew, Boone, Brown, Carroll, Clay, Clinton, Decatur, Delaware, Fountain, Greene, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Henry, Howard, Johnson, Madison, Marion, Monroe, Montgomery, Morgan, Owen, Parke, Putnam, Randolph, Rush, Shelby, Sullivan, Tippecanoe, Tipton, Vermillion, Vigo and Warren counties.
If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
