Diana Lorraine Ervin, 76, passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at her home in Lebanon, Indiana. She was born September 15, 1949, in Crawfordsville, the daughter of the late Irene (Oaks) Johnson and Leonard Johnson, Jr.
On March 30, 1969, she was united in marriage to John Thomas Stultz in Lebanon. He preceded her in death on March 25, 2020. She then was married to Russell D. Ervin on July 12, 2025; he survives.
Diana attended Lebanon schools. She was a dedicated homemaker who enjoyed raising her three daughters and loved being a grandmother to her six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. In addition to her family, Diana loved horses. She was a member of the Church of Christ and took pleasure in supporting her first husband as a devoted minister’s wife. Life was an adventure with him.
Survivors include her husband, Russell Ervin of Lebanon; daughters, Angela (Glenn) Rittenhouse of Indianapolis, Elizabeth (Lance) Hahn of Lebanon, and Becky Norris of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Devon (Allie) Rittenhouse, Aiden Norris, Gillian Trent, Laney Trent, Kylen Trent, and Dylan Trent; great granddaughter, Liliana Aimeé Rittenhouse and one great grandson soon to be born.
In addition to her parents and first husband, Diana was preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth.
Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at Gadsden Church of Christ, 576 N County Rd 650 E. in Lebanon, Indiana. Myers Mortuary and Boone County Crematory have been entrusted with her cremation arrangements.
Memorials may be made in Diana’s memory to the Boone County Cancer Society or to Paradigm Hospice.
