Donna Jo Ann Layton, 81, of Lebanon, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2023, at Asencion St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born on October 15, 1941, in Lebanon, Indiana, a daughter of the late William Floyd and Mary Alice (Goode) Fairfield.
On January 5, 2019, she was united in marriage to Earl Malcom Dick in Lebanon; he survives.
Donna was a lifelong resident of Lebanon. She was an avid gardener and loved all things, Elvis.
Survivors include her husband, Malcom Dick; children, Charlie (Lora) Pennington, II, William Jesse (Lisa) Pennington, Lisa (Pennington) Russ, and Shelby (Katie) Ballard, Jr.; grandchildren, Meranda Brennan, Kelsey Rachell, Cobie Ballard, Chastity Frederick, Michael Russ, Josh Pennington, Chuck Pennington, Emily White, Logan Pennington, Luke Pennington, Landon Pennington, Preston Russ, Branden Howe, Jackson Harsin, Jakob Harsin, Hunter Harsin, Erica Craft, Amanda Allaby, and Jessica Wilson; twenty-four great grandchildren; and a sister, Marilyn Sanders.
In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by a sister, Ella Woodard, and a grandson, Dustin Pennington.
Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Myers Mortuary and Boone County Crematory have been entrusted with her cremation arrangements.
