Dylan Thomas Padgett, 32, of Brownsburg, passed away Saturday October 19, 2024, at his home. He was born in Frankfort, IN, on February 6, 1992, the son of Thomas “Byron” Padgett and Jody (Coleman) Padgett.
Dylan was a 2010 graduate of Clinton Central High School. He graduated from Manchester University with a Bachelor’s in Exercise Science and a minor in Business Administration. He was a gifted athlete which showed in his baseball career in high school and college. Dylan’s senior year of high school, the football team won the Sectional and Regional Championships. A highlight of his college career was reaching the Division III College World Series. He made several friendships and relationships while at Manchester University that were dear to him. Dylan was currently employed by the State of Indiana as a Security Analyst in the Indiana Office of Technology. He began working there in 2015 as an intern. He cherished the close friendships with the people he worked with at the I.O.T. His favorite past times were playing golf, hunting, shooting guns, and playing video games.
Dylan is survived by his mom, Jody Padgett; brother, Logan Padgett; grandma, Nancy Padgett; aunt, Janet Moeller; uncle, Brooks (Irma) Padgett; and cousin, William (Jen) Moeller.
He was preceded in death by his dad, Byron Padgett; grandparents, Thomas Burl Padgett, Conrad and Carol Coleman; and aunt, Robin Padgett.
Friends are invited to visit with the family from 10 am to 1 pm Saturday October 26, 2024, at Stout & Son Funeral Home – Russiaville Chapel, 200 E. Main St., Russiaville, IN 46979. Graveside service will begin at 2 pm on Saturday at St. Paul Cemetery near Forest, IN, with Pastor Karl Kercheval officiating.
