One month remains for the high school class of 2025 to apply for the Walter E. York Memorial Scholarship, which acts as a non-renewable scholarship awarded annually to graduating high school seniors in the communities that Encompass Federal Credit Union serves.
The scholarship is geared toward seniors looking toward attending colleges, universities, vocational or technical schools, and the winners will be based on the applicants’ financial need and merits. Applicants or their parents or guardians must be members of Encompass Credit Union to be considered for the scholarship.
The application is currently open and must be completed by 4 p.m. on March 1. Applications may be completed by visiting tiptoncf.org/scholarships.
All applicants will need to use the General Tipton County Foundation Scholarship Application to apply.
