Ervin Gerald “Mick” Amick, 84, passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at his home in Lebanon, Indiana. He was born February 8, 1942, in Lexington, Indiana, a son of the late Lester Earl and Naomi (Passwater) Amick.
In 1993, he was married to Cynthia Jo (Boyd) Amick in Lebanon. She preceded him in death on October 10, 2022.
Mick was a graduate of Scottsburg High School. Following school, he served his country honorably in the United States Navy from 1960–1964. After Mick returned from service, he dedicated 37 years to Allison’s Gas Turbine GM/Rolls-Royce.
In his free time, he enjoyed gardening, yardwork, and fishing. Mick was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #2062 and the American Legion Post 113, both of Lebanon.
Survivors include his son, Brian E. Amick of Lebanon; and brothers, Kenny Amick of Scottsburg and Donald Amick of Indianapolis.
In addition to his parents and wife, Mick was preceded in death by a son, Kevin Scott Amick.
No public services are planned at this time. Myers Mortuary and Boone County Crematory have been entrusted with his cremation arrangements.
