Frankfort captured the boys’ meet and Clinton Central edged Clinton Prairie to win the girls’ meet in the Clinton County meet Thursday at Frankfort.
Clinton Central’s Daiden Taulbee won three events for the Bulldogs as he captured the 100, 200 and 110 hurdles. Clinton Prairie’s Hayden Kemple took two firsts in the 1,600 and 3,200.
In the girls’ meet, Hyleigh Wilson won three events for Prairie as she captured the 100 and 300 hurdles along with the high jump. Teammate Kaylee Wall took both the shot put and discus, while Ariel Abbott of Rossville won the 800 and 1,600.

Clinton Central Takes County Softball Title
Landree Whiteman tossed a five-hit shutout and fanned eight as Clinton Central blanked Clinton Prairie 5-0 in the championship game of the Clinton County Round Robin tournament Friday.
Whiteman also went 3 for 3 at the plate. Carly Davidson and Bridgette Royer also had three hits apiece for Central, which banged out 12 hits in the contest.
Central scored three runs in the first and added single tallies in the fourth and fifth.
In the first game, Central scored 10 in the first and added seven more in the second en route to a 21-0 victory over Frankfort.
Whiteman struck out the side in the first in the only inning she pitched. Emily Kocher pitched the final four innings giving up just two hits.
Whiteman and Royer both had three hits and an RBI for Central. Kortney Surber had two hits, including a double and a homer, and drove in six for the Bulldogs.
Frankfort Tennis Team Wins First Match
The Lady Hot Dogs won their first match of the season Wednesday with a 3-2 victory over Carroll in Frankfort.
Libby Pierce won 6-1, 6-0 at number one singles and Emma Wilder won her singles match 6-2, 6-1. The doubles team of Alaina Dudley and Kate Gabe won their match 6-2, 7-5.
Frankfort Baseball Takes Two
Frankfort swept a doubleheader from Clinton Central Saturday by scores of 8-2 and 13-1. Brayan Valdez and Matthew Berry earned the wins for FHS.
Prairie Evens Conference Mark
Kye Jacobs had three hits and drove in three runs as Clinton Prairie evened their conference record with a 12-10 victory over Taylor. Landon Hughes added two RBIs for the Gophers. Ben Schlicher picked up the win in relief and Derek McDonald earned the save,
