Fire Department Holds Mandatory Class On Propane

There are over 200 classes that are mandatory for new Fire Fighters to complete in 90 days.  Thursday evening the class was on propane safety and fire. The class of seven this week learned how to deal with propane fires.

The instructors were Jeff Rustin, Ben Weber, and Lt Matt Kinslow. Several other fire fighters were on hand also. This invite to the class was sent out to Clinton County departments.

Newells Gas (Michigantown) provided the propane for the class. The props for the classes were provided by the state.

This was a very interesting class and fun to watch. It also shows what the fire fighters go through. Classes are held on Tuesdays and Thursday evenings. Stay tuned and Clinton County Daily News will bring you more photos and information on these classes.
Thank you  Jeff Rustin  for the invite to watch and photograph
