Frankfort Comes Up Short In Extra Innings Semi-State Baseball Saturday

Frankfort Varsity baseball team traveled to Oak Hill High School Saturday to compete for Semi-State championship. They would face Heritage in first game of the Semi-State competition, It would take 11 innings to do but Heritage scored at the top of the 11th inning with 2 runs.
Frankfort and Heritage both played a very exciting game with excellent pitching and fielding. Frankfort fell to Heritage 2-0.

Frankfort had not won a regional title in 55 years. But last weekend, that changed. The Hot Dogs defeated Mishawaka Marian 11-7 to claim the regional title.

Before the regional win, Frankfort pulled off an upset in the sectional championship game, defeating Western 2-1 in eight innings.

It has been a busy few weeks for the Hotdogs with some tough competition and a couple fun police escorts back to Frankfort However, the season has ended for the Hotdogs.
