The Frankfort Commons Public Golf Course reported that a series of vandalism and damage was sustained at its course over the weekend that sparked an investigation by the Frankfort Police Department.
The golf course stated that over the weekend, the back nine sustained a substantial amount of vandalism and damage by a motor vehicle in the area. The golf course stated that a report was filed with the Frankfort Police Department in an attempt to locate the perpetrators and bring justice for the people who work every day to maintain and create a perfect playing surface for golfers.
The course released an update that the greens have been repaired, and all courses are fully playable, but the search continues into the case to find those who caused the damages.
