The Hot Dogs Hall of Fame Board of Directors announced the eight 2022 inductees into the Alumni Hall of Fame today. The class includes a Presidential Speechwriter, a pioneering female golfer/philanthropist, a wrestling champ CEO, a Senior Architect, a high-scoring physician-executive, a long-time coach/community volunteer, a Presidential staff Lieutenant Colonel and a graduate of the Top Gun pilot school.
The inductees are Chad Buntin (Class of 1996), Kelly J. Good (Class of 1986), Mary Gorham Herrick (Class of 1912, deceased), Dr. Tom Miller (Class of 1981), Steve Mullen (Honorary), Lt. Col. James (Jim) Rentschler (Class of 1951, deceased), Mark Sawicki (Class of 1975) and Randall “Boe” Workman (Class of 1970.)
The Hall of Fame honors will continue to be held during the Hot Dog Festival but this year will return to the comfortable climate of the Frankfort High School Theater. The inductees will be honored there with a ceremony on Saturday, July 30 at 6 p.m. The inductees will also be introduced at a reception immediately following the Second Annual Hot Dogs Hall of Fame Golf Tournament on Friday, July 29.
