The Frankfort Hot Dogs volleyball team closed out their pre-season preparations with a scrimmage against Kokomo last Wednesday evening, proving their readiness for the fall season.
During the scrimmage, the Hot Dogs won three of the five drills and played well despite injuries that limited Caroline Queen and Ella McAtee as they remained off the court for the events.
Morgan Harrington led the defense with 18 digs while Lily Rockhold led offensively with 17 kills, and Jalen Smith boasted a total of 36 assists throughout the evening.
The team kicked off its regular season on Saturday morning at Peru with pool play against Hamilton Heights and Huntington North.
