A Frankfort man was arrested and charged for multiple counts of felonies related to dealing in methamphetamine following a Narcotics Unit Investigation through the Frankfort Police Department.
The Frankfort Police Department released information regarding the arrest and subsequent filing of charges for Jason Stephens, 32, of Frankfort for felonies related to dealing illicit substances. The department stated that Stephens was arrested by the Narcotics Detectives on Sept. 4, and official charges were filed by the Clinton County Prosecutor’s Office on Sept. 6.
Stephens’ charges include three counts of dealing in methamphetamine between five and 10 grams with enhancing and prior, a level 2 felony, five counts of dealing in methamphetamine or delivery of methamphetamine with between one and five grams, a level 3 felony, two counts of dealing in methamphetamine or dealing in methamphetamine between one and five grams, a level 4 felony, one count of possession of a narcotic drug with possession of less than five grams prior, a level 5 felony, and one count of unlawful possession of syringe, a level 6 felony.
The department stated that the detectives were assisted by the Frankfort K9 units, Frankfort patrol units and the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office during the investigation.
