The execution of a search warrant in Frankfort following the receipt of tips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children saw the arrest of a Frankfort man on charges of distribution and possession of child exploitation material.
On Thursday, Dec. 5, the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office reportedly executed a search warrant in the 1200 Block of East Wabash Street in Frankfort following an investigation into four cyber-tips received by the department from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
During the execution of the search warrant, Joseph Linson, 59, or Frankfort was taken into custody on seven counts of distribution of child exploitation material and four counts of possession of child exploitation material, authorities report.
Linson is reportedly being held at the Clinton County Jail without bond.
The Clinton County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Tippecanoe County High Tech Crime Unit and the Indiana Department of Natural Resources. The case brings the 2024 total to 25 Crimes Against Children cases involving Cybertips, Undercover Chat and Peer to Peer investigations for the department, authorities report.
