The Frankfort Moose Lodge #7 will be celebrating a historic event by inducting its first female president
this Saturday.
The Frankfort Moose Lodge #7 and the Women of the Moose combined together to become Moose One only a few years ago, forming an organization dedicated to celebrating life together while serving those in need within the community. The Frankfort Moose Lodge #7 has also been one of the most active lodges in the nation in supporting the children of Mooseheart and standing by the senior members of Moosehaven, and the Moose has even hosted the seniors of Mooseheart in Frankfort as the seniors dedicated their time to sprucing up local parks as a means of expressing their gratitude for the lodge.
The Frankfort Moose Lodge in Frankfort is the oldest Moose Lodge in the world, and it plans to make history once more by celebrating the induction of the lodge’s first female president, Amy Melton, tomorrow at the Moose at 2880 E. Wabash St. in Frankfort.
