The Frankfort Police Department batted toward victory during the BoCo Shuckers Slowpitch Sfotball Tournament at Shuckers in Boone County over the weekend, taking home the victory in the Battle of the Badges.
The department fought for the championship title against the Lebanon Police Department, Boone County Sheriff’s Office, Lebanon Fire Department, Frankfort Fire Department and a mystery team composed of players and parents from the Shuckers field.
Spectators were required to pay $10 to receive a wristband, and 25% of the funds raised through the Battle of the Badges Slowpitch Showdown will be donated to the FOP Shop with a Cop program.
