Frankfort To Sparkle With Women’s Leadership Celebration Featuring First Lady Maureen Braun

Frankfort Mayor Judy Sheets has announced a special event titled “Sparkling Success: Women’s Leadership Series” that will celebrate the achievements of women-owned small businesses in Frankfort and Clinton County.

The event will be hosted by Sheets and will feature a keynote address from Indiana’s First Lady Maureen Braun, who acts as a passionate advocate for community development and entrepreneurship.

The community has been invited to join together on Wednesday, April 23 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Frankfort Neighborhood Center at 259 S. 3rd St. in Frankfort for an afternoon of empowerment, networking and celebration. Doors will open at 11 a.m. for photos and pre-event networking.

Braun, owner of Finishing Touches and the first president of Heart of Jasper, will share her insights and experiences on leadership and the vital role women play in driving economic growth within our communities.

“We are incredibly honored to welcome First Lady Maureen Braun to Frankfort,” says Mayor Judy Sheets. “This event is a fantastic opportunity to recognize the hard work and dedication of our local women entrepreneurs and to learn from a leader who has made a significant impact across Indiana. This is the first of other similar events to come from my office, as we have so much to learn from female leaders throughout our state and region. We invite everyone to join us in celebrating their ‘Sparkling Success.’

This event is a unique chance to connect with fellow community members, support local businesses, and gain valuable insights from a distinguished leader. The cost to attend is $25 per person, payable by check, cash or Venmo.

RSVPs may be directed to the Mayor’s Office by April 17 at 765-654-7332 to secure a spot.
