The UDO or Unified Development Ordinance for the city of Frankfort passed its first reading at last night’s city council meeting. It was not unanimous, but it didn’t need to be. Joe Palmer and Brandt Fuller were the dissenting votes. This UDO will bring some noticeable changes to the city’s landscape . This was an idea originally put into action several years ago by Richard Greeno, who has since passed away. His widow Nancy was in attendance as well. WILO have more on this story later this week. City Council will vote one more time before it takes effect.
