Governor Holcomb To Announce New COVID-19 Guidelines

WTHR is reporting that Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb will announce new guidelines for preventing the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus). He is expected to make the announcement during a 2:30 p.m. news conference Monday.

Some of the new measures include canceling events and gatherings of more than 50 or more people, discussing options for the 16 school districts that remain open, and closing bars, clubs and restaurants to in-person customers.

The report went on to say that Holcomb will order hospitals and surgery centers to cancel or postpone elective surgeries. Ascension St. Vincent and Community Health Network have already taken that step.
