Lebanon Community School Corporation released its placements in the Indiana High School Athletic Association classes for the upcoming fall season after a few Boone County changes this year.
Earlier this month, it was announced that the classification for Western Boone would be affected in the upcoming school year, dropping to Class 2A for volleyball, boys’ basketball and girls’ basketball while remaining in Class 2A for girls’ soccer and boys’ soccer, only missing out on moving to 1A by a single student in girls’ soccer. Western Boone will also move to Class 2A in football, which will mark the school as the largest in the class.
Lebanon and Zionsville were slated to remain the same for the upcoming season with new schools entering the classes.
