Imagination Station to Host Hands-On Transportation Event September 20

Imagination Station is inviting families to experience the excitement of big vehicles up close at its 24th Annual Hands-On Transportation event on Saturday, September 20. The family-friendly event will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Imagination Station, located at 600 N. 4th Street in Lafayette.

Children and families will have the chance to climb aboard and explore a variety of vehicles, including fire trucks, tractors, dump trucks, solar cars, busses, and more. The event offers a unique opportunity for kids to get a hands-on look at the machines that help keep communities running.

In addition to the vehicle displays, food trucks, snacks, and a gift shop will be available. Activities are planned throughout the day to keep all ages engaged. Admission is free, but donations are encouraged, with all proceeds supporting Imagination Station’s mission of science and discovery.

Sponsors for this year’s event include Caterpillar, Tippecanoe County, the City of Lafayette, the City of West Lafayette, Visit Lafayette-West Lafayette, IU Health, Panera Bread, Sam’s Club, Arni’s Restaurant, and many others.
