The conclusion of the 96th Indiana FFA Convention marked the start of a year of travel, meaningful conversations, new connections and learning for the incoming Indiana FFA officer team. Seven FFA members were announced and installed June 19 at the final session of the state convention.
These candidates underwent a rigorous interview and selection process to ensure they’re prepared to for their year of service to Indiana FFA. Here is a look at those new leaders:
President. Kaitlyn Maruszewski will serve as the 2025-26 Indiana FFA president following four years of dedication to FFA. Her numerous leadership positions at the chapter, district and state levels have prepared her to guide Indiana FFA members in this next journey. She is a Tri Central FFA member, and her advisor is Lynn Shrock. She is the daughter of Dan and Jennifer Maruszewski.
Northern Region VP. Hailing from the Prairie Heights FFA to serve as the 2025-26 Indiana FFA Northern Region vice president is Erianna Vela. Her leadership extends to the youngest of students. She designed a supervised agricultural experience where she teaches second grade students about plants. Her advisors are Ron Noll, Ben Leu and Caitlin Tracey. She is the daughter of Lyle and Erica Baker.
Southern Region VP. Calvin Myers has a passion for agriculture, pursuing a variety of SAEs and leadership positions during his time with the Bloomfield FFA. His dedication has helped him use his skills to strengthen the ag industry, and he will now serve as the 2025-26 Indiana FFA Southern Region vice president. His advisor is Juli Huffman. He is the son of Seth Myers and Karla Pruett.
Secretary. Serving as the 2025-26 Indiana FFA secretary, Lauren Argotte found her footing in multiple leadership positions throughout her five years of FFA membership. She extends her passion beyond the organization, creating media content to educate the local community about agriculture and FFA. She hails from the Lebanon FFA, where her advisors are Lindsey Bradway, Katelyn Rudolph, Drew Reed and Dustin Homan. She is the daughter of Laura Blankman-Argotte.

Treasurer. Lily Sloan of the Jennings County FFA is set to serve as the 2025-26 Indiana FFA treasurer. She has always been eager to serve the organization, helping to establish new events at the chapter level and extending her service to the district level — all while balancing schoolwork, a job and multiple SAEs. Her advisor is Brad Biggs, and her parents are Zac and Angi Sloan.
Reporter. Hailing from the Rushville FFA Chapter and serving as the 2025-26 Indiana FFA reporter is Jenna Lawler. She has dedicated the past four years to the organization, all while pursuing SAEs that will help her achieve her goal of bettering food safety and security. Her advisors are Sami DeLey, Karley Yager and Jessica Roberts. She is the daughter of Brad Lawler and Nancy Starke.
Sentinel. Jesus Santana of the North Miami FFA will serve as the 2025-26 Indiana FFA sentinel. With a goal to one day be an ag teacher in Indiana, Santana is pursuing an SAE where he assists with the North Miami ag department. There, he helps teach classes and coaches various FFA teams. His advisor is Jim Wildermuth. He is the son of Emilio and Laura Santana.
