The Indiana Department of Transportation has announced lane and crossover restrictions expected to impact U.S. 52 near Colfax at the intersections of Manson Colfax Road and Hickory Road beginning next week.
Beginning on or after Monday, Aug. 19, crews are expected to close the left lane of U.S. 52 at the intersection and restrict traffic at Manson Colfax Road and Hickory Road to right in-and-out turns only. Traffic may proceed onto U.S. 52 and conduct a U-turn at the next crossover to resume travels on to the impacted roadway. Crews will reportedly implement turn lanes at the intersections during the closures.
The department announced that the closures are expected to continue through early November as weather permits, and the concluding date is subject to change.
Drivers are encouraged to exercise caution when driving through the construction zone and seek an alternate route around the crossovers during the closure.
