The Indiana Department of Transportation has announced that a new traffic signal will be turned on at State Road 28 and Hoke Ave. in Frankfort on or after today, Tuesday, Aug. 20.
The traffic light is intended to eliminate confusion surrounding the intersection due to varying right-of-ways that stop traffic from different directions while permitting traffic to bypass stops in other directions.
Community members are encouraged to remain aware in the area for slowed and stopped traffic as drivers become acquainted with the new flow of traffic.
