INDOT Announces Short-Term Closure On SR 75 In Clinton & Carroll Counties Beginning Today, Aug. 20

The Indiana Department of Transportation announced that maintenance crews are expected to conduct seal coating operations on State Road 75 that will result in a road closure beginning on or after today, Tuesday, Aug. 20 in both Carroll and Clinton counties.

The department stated that State Road 75 will be closed during the daytime work hours between State Road 18 and State Road 26 on State Road 75 for approximately three days following today. The official detour for the short-term closure will be to follow State Road 18 to U.S. 421 then to State Road 26.

The department encouraged through traffic to utilize the detour or seek an alternate route. Local traffic has been encouraged to exercise caution and follow traffic directions carefully in the area where work is occurring to avoid accidents or injuries.

The department stated that work is expected to be completed in the three-day period, but the conclusion date is subject to change depending on the weather conditions.
