The Indiana Department of Transportation announced that daytime flagging operations will begin on State Road 39 through downtown Frankfort tomorrow, Sept. 3.
Beginning on or after tomorrow, department crews are expected to begin installing ADA ramps and conducting other ADA improvements through Frankfort, which requires the implementation of a flagging operation from Kelly Road throughout town and headed northwest on State Road 39.
The department stated that several intersections will require flagging at different times, and drivers should expect several shoulder closures throughout the stretch of roadway as well.
The department encouraged all drivers traveling in the area to remain attentive and keep the safety of the workers at the forefront of their minds with the potential for shoulder work or flagging through 2025.
