The Indiana Department of Transportation is holding hiring events in multiple cities from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday. INDOT is looking for employees for the winter season.
Winter seasonal employees earn $20 an hour and $24 per hour for a snow plow driver only. They may also qualify for a $250 sign-on and a $500 retention bonuses. Other job openings are highway technicians, mechanics and engineers.
The hiring events will be held in West Lafayette (2319 U.S. 231, West Lafayette), Crawfordsville (139 West 300 North, Crawfordsville) and Frankfort (1675 West State Road 28, Frankfort).
Candidates must have a valid commercial driver’s license and they are encouraged to submit an application before attending.
