The Indiana Department of Transportation announces an intermittent flagging operation that will impact State Road 28 over I-65, located just west of Frankfort.
Beginning on or after Monday, July 13, INDOT contractors will close the shoulders of the roadway between the two sections of County Road 800 W. and flag the area as needed. The purpose of construction is to install new signals at the I-65 southbound ramps.
Both lanes of traffic are expected to be open the majority of the project, with anticipated completion in November, weather-permitting. Drivers are encouraged to use extra caution and keep worker safety top-of-mind.
