Janet Beth (Arbuckle) Gallagher, 91, of Frankfort, IN., passed away June 7, 2025 in her home surrounded by family. She was born on January 22, 1934 in Marion County, Indiana to the late Joseph and Frances (Dunkin) Arbuckle. She married James Gallagher and they enjoyed 38 years together before his passing on May 6, 1992.
Janet was a graduate of Arsenal Tech High School. She was a homemaker and a member of East Side Christian Church along with several social groups in Frankfort. Janet’s greatest joy was her family and animals. She enjoyed eating out and playing cards and dominos.
Surviving are her children, Elaine (Dave) Johnson of Frankfort, IN, David Gallagher of Pierceton, IN, and Lisa (Jon) Beck of Noblesville, IN, grandchildren, Adam, Emily (James), James (Grace), Ashlee (Conlan), Danelle, Jonny, and David, along with 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister, Virginia Thomas, and brothers, Tom and David Arbuckle.
A Private Family Service will be held at Goodwin Funeral Home, 200 S. Main Street, Frankfort with Pastor Frank Harness officiating. Entombment will follow in Washington Park East Cemetery – Cloister Mausoleum, Indianapolis.
