Jerri Lynn Stewart, 69, passed away at her home in Lebanon, Indiana, on Saturday, April 26, 2025. She was born November 2, 1955, in Lebanon, a daughter of the late Robert M. and Dorothy Jean (Cox) Ford.
On March 12, 1975, she was united in marriage to Calvin Ray Stewart in Boone County, Indiana. He preceded her in death on August 31, 2004.
Jerri was a 1974 graduate of Granville Wells High School. She had worked as a waitress at Dick & Judy’s in Jamestown for many years, and most recently, Lebanon School Corporation as a custodian at Hattie B. Stokes Elementary School.
She loved spending time outdoors, doing yardwork, planting flowers, and just soaking up the sun. She enjoyed shopping at Kohl’s, one of her favorite stores, and crafting in her free time. Jerri loved her family dearly and was always willing to help anyone in need.
Survivors include her daughter, Angela Stewart of Lebanon; daughter-in-law, Joy Stewart Maxon of Lebanon; two grandchildren, Lexi (fiancé, Travis Hodgin) Stewart of Lebanon and Nicholas Stewart of Lebanon; great grandson, Henry Hodgin; brother, Rick (Connie) Ford of Advance; sister-in-law, Judy Ford of Hobart; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends, Zonia Thompson and Tammy Childress.
In addition to her parents and husband, Jerri was preceded in death by a son, Michael Ray Stewart; brother, Randy Ford; and sister and brother-in-law, Patrina Jo and Harold Wingate.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 5, 2025, at the Porter and Hunt Funeral Home, 315 West Main Street, in Jamestown, Indiana. Visitation from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services. Interment will follow at the IOOF Cemetery in Jamestown.
