Jessica Marie Meek, age 30, of Frankfort, Indiana, passed away on September 21, 2025, at IU Health University Hospital in Indianapolis, surrounded by the love of her family and friends. She was born on November 17, 1994, in Clarion, Pennsylvania, to David and Rebecca Detjen.
Jessica graduated from New Bethlehem Wesleyan Methodist School. A devoted wife and mother, Jessica was happiest when surrounded by her family and friends. She loved baking and creating special memories with her children, and will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and love. Jessica along with her family attended Victory Chapel in Frankfort, IN where her faith was an important part of her life.
Jessica is survived by her husband, Loyd L. Meek of Frankfort, IN; her children, Abigail, Emily, Russell, and Katlyn, all of Frankfort, IN; her mother, Rebecca Detjen of Rimersburg, PA; and her grandparents, Stephen and Ruth Clyde of Hawthorne, PA, and Christine Siwik of Richmond, IN. She is also survived by her siblings, Elizabeth (Brandon) Hudson of Rimersburg, PA; Katie (Michael) Spaulding of San Bernardino, CA; Jonathan (Carrie) Detjen of Oil City, PA; Jeremy Nickerson of Highland, CA; Brandon Nickerson of Highland, CA; and Nicole Creamer of Highland, CA. Additional survivors include her mother-in-law, Rachel Meek; sisters-in-law, Kristy (Michael) Snyder, Anna (Matthew) Alfred and Rose (DJ) Maley; along with several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Rev. James A. Meek.
Visitation will be from 3:30-5:30 p.m. Monday, September 29, 2025 at Victory Chapel, 196 Lewis Smith Road, Frankfort. Funeral services will begin at 5:30 pm at Victory Chapel.
