Jewell Lee Linton, 84, from Thorntown, Indiana passed away on October 2, 2023. He was born on May 19, 1939, to the late Darwin and Mariah “Betty” (Gilbreath) Linton.
Lee worked in the insurance industry and owned an agency before retiring in 2009. He then moved to Naples, Florida in 2010 and made many friends until he came back home in November of 2022 due to medical issues. He enjoyed dancing, fishing, playing cards and socializing.
His brothers Carl, Bob and Byron preceded him in death. Lee is survived by his brother, Harold Linton (Mary); sisters, Darcella Branagin and Sharon McLaughlin (Mike); daughters, Angie Linton, Debbie Moore (Mike), and Michelle Mann (Chad); and grandchildren, Brandon Reeve and Lauren Moore.
The family will gather with friends for a Celebration of Life from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Friday, October 6, 2023, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana.
