Julie Ann Ursery, 67, passed away early morning on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at the Waters of Lebanon. She was born in Lebanon, Indiana on July 1, 1958, a daughter of the late Loral K. and Esther M. (Parrish) Venis.
She attended Western Boone and graduated from Lebanon High School in 1976. After graduation she attended Indianapolis Business College.
Julie married Britt Ursery, Sr. in Indianapolis on June 2, 1982, and later divorced. She then married Delbert Douglas on June 29, 1991, but also divorced.
Julie spent many years working as an accountant at H.B. Gardner in Indianapolis.
Julie loved shopping, dancing, listening to music, as well as watching The Golden Girls. Most importantly, she treasured moments spent with her family.
Survivors include her sons, Rey (Victoria Vazquez) Ursery and Robert (Katrina) Ursery; brothers, Allen R. Venis and Michael W. Venis; and sister, Diana L. (John) Dickerson.
In addition to her parents, Julie was preceded in death by her sister, Teresa M. Griffin and brother, Brian K. Venis.
Graveside Services will be held at 11:00am on Monday, December 15, 2025, at Oak Hill Cemetery, 935 East Washington Street, in Lebanon, Indiana. Upon conclusion of these services, honors to her late brother, Brian Venis, will be made as he is laid to rest in a separate location at Oak Hill Cemetery. The family invites friends to join them after services at 1:00 p.m. at the Senior Citizens Center, 707 South Lebanon Street in Lebanon. Myers Mortuary has been entrusted with her care.
